The fourth batch of 558 pilgrims from Kwara state have been airlifted to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for 2025 Hajj exercise.
The fourth flight brought the total number of pilgrims airlifted from the State to 2,083 with 9 officials of the National Hajj Commission (NAHCON). One official from the State .
Addressing the Intending pilgrims before their departure, the State Amirul Hajj, the Olupo of Ajase-Ipo, Barrister Ismail Yahaya -Alebiosu urged them to exhibit good character while in the holy land.
He prayed Almighty Allah to accept their acts of worship during and after the pilgrimage.
On his part the Executive Secretary,Kwara state Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board ,Alhaji Abdulsalam Abdulkadir urged the intending pilgrims to obey the rules and regulations guiding their stay in the foreign land.
He also advised them to avoid negative tendencies that could tarnish the image of the State and the country .
The remaining intending pilgrims are expected to depart tomorrow (Monday) according to the airlifting schedule.
