The Senate has received an executive communication seeking it’s confirmation for appointment of seven members in the Independent Currupt Practices Commission ICPC Board
Senate president who read the letter by Mr President said the Senate will look into the request in accordance with the provisions if the law
President Muhammadu Buhari’s letter read as follows, in accidance with section 3(3) and 7 of the corrupt practices and other related matters act I write to forward the under listed seven persons for the Senate confirmation
The names are Justice Adamu Bello Rtd from Katsina Madam Hannatu Muhammed From Jigawa state, Mrs Olubukola Balogun from Legos, Barr Oboro Samual Anastate
The remaining members include Dr Abdullahi Maikano from Niger state , Princess Dauda Yahya Umar froNasarawa state and Dr Grace Nkechinyere from Delta State
Mr president wished that the senate will confirm and expediciousely pass for their appointments as members of the ICPC Commission.
