The National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA has received another 126 stranded Nigerians from Libya
In a statement, NEMA Acting Coordinator of the Lagos Territorial Office, Mr Ibrahim Farinloye, says the stranded returnees comprised of 46 male adults, 62 female adults, two male and six female children, as well as four female and six male babies.
According to the Farinloye, they were brought back to the country by the International Organisation for Migration IOM, through a voluntary repatriation programme designed for distressed Nigerians who had left the country to seek greener pastures in various European countries.
Mr Farinloye urged the returnees to tap into the abundant opportunities across the country and make themselves more responsible.
Mr Farinloye, also advised them to become ambassadors against irregular migration by sensitizing vulnerable youths on the dangers of unlawful migration.
