Kaura Namoda Emirate in Zamfara State has donated medicines and medical consumables to orphans and less privileged clinic in the Emirate.

Emir of Kaura Namoda, Alhaji Sanusi Muhammad Ahmad Asha who handed over the medicines to the clinic management committee at premises of the clinic, said the gesture was to support orphans and less privileged in accessing health care delivery.

He noted that considering the nature and purpose of establishing the Clinic, wealthy individuals and other corporate bodies need to assist in operation of the clinic.

The Emir who was accompanied by Council members of the Emirate, District Heads, and Medical/Health personnel in the Emirate called on health institutions, health personnel to lay their helping hands to the clinic to enable it operate in a standard manner.

He said efforts were on top gear to expand the clinic to get maternity unit and others wards to take care of patients round the clock.

The medicines donated by the Emirate includes AntiBiotics, AntiMalaria, Analgesics, medical consumables among others.

Receiving the items, chairman of the clinic management committee, Alhaji Sa’adu Aliyu (Modibbon Kaura Namoda) expressed gratitude and appreciation to the emir for the gesture, saying it is timely and worthy of emulation with a view to assisting needy in communities.
