Kwara state command of the Nigeria Customs Service has called on parents to caution their wards against attacking and looting public properties.

In a statement by the commands Public Relations Officer, mr Chado Zakari in Ilorin, says the command came under attack by hoodlums with the intention to loot and set it ablaze.

It explains that the hoodlums stormed the area in large number ,armed with guns ,matchetes, axes and Charms as well as other dangerous weapons.

The statement says during the exchange of gun fire, two officers sustained serious injuries while noting that the officers with reinforcement from the Nigerian Army repelled the attack and seized 24 Motorcycles and one Keke NAPEP which were brought to move goods out of the command.

It however, assured that the command will do everything within the ambit of the law to protect public properties in it’s possession and ensure peace.
