A Non Governmental Organization Sabil Charitable International has called on Nigerians, Stakeholders and donor agencies to provide more palliatives to vulnerable and peron’s living with disability in the country.

The President, Hajiya Halimatu Saadiya Abdu made call while distributing palliatives to hundred vulnerable and person’s living with disability in Kaduna.

Hajiya Halimatu Saadiya Abdu lamented that most families wandered around on daily basis to cater for their families and with the lockdown they were finding it difficult to coup.

She advised that there was need for private organisations and wealthy individuals to emulate the gesture, aim at easing hardship experienced by people due to covid-19 lockdown coupled with Ramadan fasting

The president hinted that the organisation donated five percent of the items while different donor agencies donated ninety five percent of that was being shared to the less privileged.

Palliatives

Speaking, Vice president of the Organization Hajiya Hadiza Hassan Katsina pleaded with parents to educate their wards to abide by the government rules and regulations on social distancing to reduce the spread of the disease.
