President Muhammadu Buhari

The Federal government has released N620 million for the fight against coronavirus. 

This was disclosed in a statement by Yunusa Tanko Abdullahi, the Special Adviser, Media & Communications, to the Minister of Finance , Budget and National Planning .

He said the approval and release of the funds by President Buhari was based on emergency.

Tanko Abdullahi added that the first tranche of N364 million was earlier released, making a total of N984 million released to tackle the spread of the virus in the country.
