The people of Kontagora Local Government Area of Niger state have been advised to work collectively toward the sustenance and promotion of peace in the area to enhance its speedy development.
The new Waziri of Kontagora Alh Abubakar Yusuf Danny who gave the advice in a statement issued to Newsmen in Minna the state capital maintained that peace is the prerequisite for any meaningful development.
Alh Abubakar Yusuf explained that on his part he will do everything within his powers to provide, encourage and promote peace in Kontagora Local Government Area and Niger state to achieve greater height.
He said as he assume the responsibilities of his new office, he will remain resolute in the promotion of peace, justice, equity, unity as well as the cherished tradition of Kontagora Emirate, Niger state and Nigeria as a whole.
Alh Abubakar Yusuf commended the Niger state Governor Mohammed Umar Bago and the Sarkin Sudan of Kontagora Alh Muhammad Barau Muazu the second for the overwhelming goodwill messages and promised to discharge his duties with the fear of Allah to succeed.
Similarly he said among other people too numerous to mention included the member of House of representatives representing Kontagora, Mashegu and Wushishi federal constituency Abdullahi Garba,and the Chairman of Kontagora Local Government Area Barrister Lawal Yusuf and other people numerous to mention for their support and promised and however promised not to disappoint them.
Alh Abubakar Yusuf expressed hope that Allah will bless him with good health and the strength to uphold justice fairness peace and unity all times.
