The Controller-General of the Federal Fire Service, Olumode Adeyemi Samuel, has approved the immediate deployment of Assistant Controller of Fire (ACF) Aminu Amadu as the new State Controller for the Kaduna State Command.
The appointment is in recognition of his exemplary leadership, dedication to duty and outstanding administrative competence in the service.
Until his new appointment, ACF Aminu Amadu served as the pioneer Commander of the Zaria Area Command, where he distinguished himself through professionalism, discipline and strategic leadership.
During his tenure, the Zaria Area Command recorded significant improvements in operational efficiency, personnel welfare, public relations and inter-agency collaboration.
His administration was also characterised by transparency, accountability and teamwork, which enhanced both the operational capacity and morale of officers and men of the command.
One of the major achievements recorded under his leadership was the successful collaboration with the Zaria Local Government Council, which led to the construction of a standard fire station in the area.
The project has significantly strengthened emergency response capabilities and remains one of the enduring legacies of his stewardship in Zaria.
ACF Aminu Amadu was widely respected for his accessible leadership style, fairness and commitment to the welfare of personnel, earning him admiration from both subordinates and superiors.
His consistent delivery of results and strategic innovations are believed to have contributed to his appointment as the new State Controller for Kaduna State.
