The Progressive Governor’s Forum-PGF headed by Governor Hope Uzodinma has denied false reports circulating in the media of removing the Chairman of the Forum.

In a statement issued on Thursday night in Abuja by the Director General of the Forum,  Mr Folorunso S. Aluko said the attention of the Progressive Governors Forum has been drawn to a false and misleading report circulating in some media platforms alleging the removal of its Chairman, Senator Hope Uzodimma.

The statement explains that for the avoidance of doubt, the Forum categorically states that the report is entirely false, baseless, and without an iota of truth.

The Director General said no meeting of the Forum was held at which any such decision was taken and the PGF Secretariat has no record of such meeting, and is not aware of, any resolution removing the Chairman.

He further explained that the Forum remains united, focused, and committed to its responsibilities.

According to him, Members of the public, party faithfuls, and the media are therefore advised to disregard the said report in its entirety.
