In a heartwarming act of service and compassion, members of the NYSC Red Cross Community Development Service (CDS) Club, Kano, have donated food items, hygiene kits, beverages, and essential medicaments to students of IDP College, Mariri.

The humanitarian outreach aimed to support the health and wellbeing of students displaced by conflict and currently enrolled at the college.

The donation package included 400 sachets of Tea bags, two 50kg bags of grains (Guinea corn and maize), antibiotics, detergents, snacks , beverages and other basic supplies.

Speaking at the event, NYSC Schedule Officer, Mr. Emmanuel Juma, commended the students for their resilience and encouraged them to stay positive and make judicious use of the donated items.

Also addressing the gathering, the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Red Cross Society (NRCS), Kano Branch Alhaji Musa Abdullahi reaffirmed the organization’s enduring partnership with IDP College and its commitment to humanitarian service.

In her remarks, Vice Principal (Academics), Hauwa Abdullahi Said, praised the corps members for their patriotism and community spirit, noting that the NYSC anthem continues to inspire young Nigerians toward service and nation-building.
