President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and
Former Minister of Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN are among important dignitaries billed to attend the 40th Convocation lecture of the University of Ilorin.
In a statement , the Registrar of the University, Mansur Alfanla, says that the programme would run from Friday, 17th October to Sunday, 26th October, 2025.
According to it , the convocation lecture would be delivered by former Governor of Lagos State and former Minister of Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN, on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.
It explains that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, is also billed to commission some newly completed projects of the University as part of the activities marking the 40th convocation ceremonies.
It notes that the convocation for graduands who undertook 4 Year programmes and Diplomas will be held at the University Auditorium immediately after the Convocation Lecture on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.
