Muslims have been urged to take good care of their family as commanded by God to gain Aljannah in the here after.
Sheikh Fatihu Yahaya-Murtadah made the call in his Juma’at sermon at Alfa Yahaya- Central Mosque in Oke -Agodi area of Ilorin.
He said taking care of the family properly was one of the criteria that would make a Muslim receive God’s blessings.
According to him the Muslims should not think it is only through one good deed they can gain God’s acceptance.
Sheikh Yahaya- Murtadha explained that Muslims were commanded to give Zakat, perform salat and all other pillars of Islam in the same way without leaving one for the other.
He noted that one can gain paradise through any of the good deeds performed with all sincerity.
The Cleric advised Muslims to be of good behaviour and practice the religion as commanded by God .
