Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, has announced new appointments and redeployments across its North Central Zonal Headquarters and FM stations.
A statement from the Deputy Director of Administration in the zone, Mallam Nma Ibrahim, reveals that Mr Shimataver Aondoakaa has been appointed General Manager of Harvest FM, Makurdi, Benue State.
The former General Manager, Mrs Christiana Odeh, has been redeployed to the Zonal Headquarters in Lafia, where she will serve as Deputy Director of Programmes.
Mr Alfa Yakubu has been named the new General Manager of Prime FM, Lokoja. He replaces Mr Adeiza Momoh Jimoh, who now assumes duty at the Zonal Headquarters as Deputy Director, News and Current Affairs.
The statement also confirms the appointment of Mrs Binta Abubakar Mora as the substantive General Manager of Harmony FM, Idofian, Ilorin, Kwara State.
Meanwhile, the General Managers of Highland FM Jos, Patience Jatau, and Precious FM Lafia, Ibrahim Abimiku, are to retain their positions.
The North Central Zonal Director, Mallam Haruna Idris, conveyed the congratulations of the Director-General of FRCN, Dr Mohammed Bulama, to the appointees and encouraged them to deploy their experience in advancing the corporation’s objectives
