Bishop Adegbite extolled the sterling qualities of the former President, who served as Military Head of State from December 31, 1983, to August 27, 1985, and President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria from 2015 to 2023.

“The late Muhammadu Buhari was a detribalized Nigerian, a worthy patriot, and an unassuming leader who contributed significantly to shaping the current political landscape of our democratic experience.”

The NCPC boss affirmed that the former President would be remembered for his visionary leadership and forthrightness.

“He spent his precious time on earth serving Nigeria, and history will never forget his invaluable contributions to the growth of the nation.”
