Muslims have been urged to use their wealth in performing Hajj, a holy pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia in fulfilling of one of the pillars of Islam.
Imam Hannafi -Gere made the call in his Juma’at sermon at High Court Mosque in Ilorin, Kwara state.
He said performing Hajj is a religious obligation that is mandatory for all Muslims that have the means.
Imam Hannafi -Gere explained that it is forbidden for any Muslims that is wealthy and healthy not to perform Hajj pilgrimage in fulfilment of islamic Injunction.
He advised those who have already paid for the holy pilgrimage to ensure they observe Hajj rituals as commanded by God.
