The Nigerian Army School of Infantry-NASI says it will be conducting exercise WAZOBIA HUNTER, as part of training activities scheduled for students of the School and recruits of Depot, Nigerian Army.

In a statement by the Assistant Director, Army Public Relations of NASI, Captain Abayomi Adisa says the exercise is scheduled to hold from Monday 17th to the 26th March this year, at Pambeguwa general area in Kubau LGA.

The statement explains that the exercise will involve the movement of troops and firing of weapons in the area.

According to the statement, there would be a loud battle sound that would be heard during the exercise, which is in line with the Nigerian Army training exercise.

The statement urges residents of Pambeguwa and environs not to panic, but go about their normal respective businesses, as the battle sound would not pose any security threat to their lives and businesses.

It adds that all necessary safety measures have been put in place throughout the period of the exercise.
