“Work As A Team” – Tinubu Tells Security Chiefs

President Bola Tinubu has tasked the National Security Adviser, Service Chiefs and the Inspector general of Police to work as a team in order to succeed in various assignments.

The President gave them the directive when he met with the security chiefs at the Presidential Villa Abuja.

Speaking to newsmen at the end of the meeting, National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu said President bola Tinubu also assured them of his total support as they address security challenges in the country.

He said they thanked the President for the opportunity he gave them to serve the country

He pointed out that at the meeting they pledged their loyalty to the president , Nigeria and Nigerians.

The National Security adviser revealed that the president assured them that he will give them all the necessary support they need he also charged them to work as a team in the discharge of their duties

On where they plan to start from, the National Security Adviser said they will adopt a holistic approach, adding that already, there is improvement and they will secure the nation.

Similarly the former Governor of Zamfara state sani yariman Bakura was also at the Presidential Villa, to congratulate the president for his victory at the presidential election

He advised President Bola Tinubu to dialogue with bandits, just as the late former President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua did with Niger Delta militants.

Yerima stated that he firmly believes that Nigerian security agencies, with adequate support, possess the capability to handle the security situation in the country

He identified ignorance and poverty as the driving factors behind people resorting to banditry, emphasizing that only illiterate individuals would take up arms and kill innocent people.

Yerima maintained that if dialogue with bandits fails, then the government can use force on them.
