Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umar Bago has directed for the dissolution of members of Niger State Independent Electoral Commission (NSIEC).

This is contained in a statement issued to newsmen by Secretary to the State Government, Abubakar Usman in Minna the state capital.

The statement however explains that Governor Umar Bago ordered the dissolution with effect from May the twenty nineth.

According to the Secretary to the State Government, “members of the Commission have been directed to hand over all property of State Government in their possession to most senior Director in the Commission with immediate effect”.
