Kano State government (KNSG), has reiterated it’s commitment to providing foreign scholarship opportunities, school feeding and free educational support materials.
Kano state Governor, Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf represented by the Speaker, Kano state House of Assembly, Alhaji Isma’il Jibrin Falgore, made the indication, during Hawan Kekasa in Karaye local government area.
He explained that, other priority areas include, free antenatal and post natal services to pregnant and nursing mothers, child health care, in addition to, improving agricultural activities to ensure food security and sufficiency.
“The Abba Kabir led government is a government that is totally committed in bringing succor to the lives of the people of the State,” Falgore noted.
The speaker urged Kano citizens to support the government by contributing their quota to the development of the state.
In his remarks, the Emir of Karaye, Dr Ibrahim Abubakar II, commended Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and the Speaker, Alhaji Jibril Isma’il Falgore for attending Hawan Kekasa.
He charged residents of Karaye Emirate, to be extra vigilant and report any suspicious person or character to relevant authorities.
