The Kebbi state Deputy Governor, Rtd. Colonel Samaila Yombe, says, he believe the President elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, would look into the loop holes of the security structure of the country on assumtion of duty to ensure more on the security of lives and property of Nigerians.

Colonal Yo me, who was speaking to Radio Nigeria in Kebbi State, said amending the loop holes became necessary despite President Muhammadu Buhari’s effort in tackling the security challenge faced by the Northern part of the country.

He stated that, President Buhari’s administration has done alot in tackling Boko Haram in the North East and Banditary in the North West but still there is loop holes in the security structure where the President elect should looked into while in office.

According to him, the Southern part of Kebbi State that has been battling with insecurity and bad roads, believed that, the President elect would look in to that, considering the area has a vast agricultural potentials with abandant mineral resource.

He expressed satisfaction with the peaceful conduct of the Presidential and National Assembly elections nation wide and urged electorates to do same coming Saturday’s elections for Governorship and House of Assembly elections.

While congratulating the President elect and the APC, Colonel Yombe, called on the party supporters to come out enmass to vote for the candidates of the party in every state of the country.

The Deputy Governor however commended security agencies put in place during Febuary elections and urged them to maintain the tempo and as well the media for their professionalism in covering the election.
