Jigawa state government has approved the drilling of two hundred and seventy hand pump across the twenty seven local government areas of the state.
The chairman, Jigawa state chapter of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Umar Kabiru Dubantu made this known to newsmen in Dutse.
He said 10 hand pumps will be drilled at Fulani settlement in each of the twenty seven local government areas of the state.
According to him , ninety hand pumps were drilled at various Fulani settlement across the local government areas.
Umar Kabiru Dubantu said the state government has constructed two hundred and seventy six nomadic schools in the state, in addition to the three hundred and sixty literacy centers.
The Chairman said, eleven Fulani junior secondary schools including one for girls were established by the present administration, while boarding students were provided with uniforms, schools bags and shoes.
