Magistrate’s Association of Nigeria MAN has called on its members to ensure quick dispensation of Justice in the country.

The newly elected chairman of the Association Jigawa state branch, Mannir Sarki Abdullahi in his acceptance speech at the High Court Complex in Dutse, jigawa state capital.

He said magistrates play a very crucial role in the administration of justice, hence the need for quick dispensation of Justice in Jigawa state and the country in general.

According to him, they will ensure transparency and do all their best to protect the interest of members of the association.

Munnir said they would carry all their members along, do their best for the association and move the State Judiciary to a greater height.

We will however work toward improving the welfare of all magistrates for effective service delivery” the chairman said.

Radio Nigeria reports that, other elected executives are, Aliyu Ahmed Zakar as Vice Chairman, Mustapha Ahmad Adam as Secretary General and Amina Saleh-Financial Secretary.

While Yakubu Ibrahim as Director Protocol, Umar Murtala Adamu-Assistant Secretary and Fatima Muhd Tahir as Treasurer of the association.
