The All Progressive Congress APC Gubernatorial candidate in Niger state Alh Umar Bago has described the Etsu Nupe and Chairman Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers Alh Yahaya Abubakar as a bridge builder and monarch per excellence that has contributed positively to the growth and development of Nupe kingdom Niger state and Nigeria.
He stated this on the occasion of the monarch’s seventieth birthday anniversary and nineteen years on ascension of the throne that took place at his palace in Bida local government council.
Alhaji Umar Mohammed Bago who was at the Emir’s palace in Bida to felicitate with him extolled his “uncommon leadership qualities” and prayed that God grants him many more years of service to the people of the Nupe kingdom Niger state and Nigeria.
According to him the peace, unity, progress and prosperity the people of Nupe kingdom have enjoyed under his leadership were enormous and worthy of emulation by all and sundry.
Alh Umar Bago however explained that as the first class monarch continue to use his exalted throne to build bridges of friendship and harmony across nupe land, Niger state and Nigeria it is his prayer that Allah grant him.many more years of good health, prosperity and enduring fulfillment.
In the same vein Special Adviser Political and Strategy to Niger state Governor Alh Muhammad Nma Kolo has joined thousands of Nigerlites and Nigerians in felicitating with Etsu Nupe Alh Yahaya Abubakar on his landmark achievements.
Alh Nma Kolo maintained that Nigerlites especially the Nupe kingdom are proud to be associated with the highly respected monarch whose counsel and purposeful leadership has continued to put them on strategic position in Nigeria and beyond.
The Special Adviser Political and Strategy to Niger state Governor also appealed to Nigerlites to as a matter of urgency reciprocate the gesture by embracing peace without which there could be no meaninful development.
