A Northern Political Pressure Group, the Coalition for Peace and Progress says Rt Honorable Yakubu Dogara has the required political experience to serve as the running mate of APC presidential flag bearer Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
National Coordinator of the group Dr Muhammad Chindo stated this to newsmen during a briefing at the Secretariat of the Nigerian Union of Journalist in Kaduna.
Dr Muhammad Chindo described Honourable Yakubu Dogara as a bridge-builder whose compassionate love for the progress of humanity was unprecedented due to the respect acquired from his constituency.
He explained that considering the diverse nature of the country, to ensure fairness, thus the need for a Christian vice president who could transcend primordial sentiments bordering on religion, tribalism and sectionalism.
The National Coordinator reiterated that Yakubu Dogara was the best candidate that can promote unity and togetherness among the diverse and heterogeneous citizens of the country.
Dr Muhammad Chindo said the APC presidential flag required constant support and encouragement which Honourable Yakubu Dogara possessed in his dealings with others, especially on matters of State and National Interests.
