Member representing Kiru local government area, Alhaji Kabiru Hassan DASHI has emerged as the new deputy speaker,Kano state house of assembly.
The confirmation followed the resignation of the former deputy speaker, Alhaji Zubairu Hamza Massu who decamped to NNPP.Which necessitated the speaker Alhaji Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari to call for the nomination of a new deputy speaker,during plenary session.
The adoption was sequel to the nomination by Saleh Ahmed Marke seconded by Nuhu Abdullahi Acika
The house unanimously adopted the nomination and confirmed the appointment of the new deputy speaker.
In his acceptance speech,Kabiru Hassan Dashi reiterated his commitment to working asidiously in discharging his responsibility.
