Over 300 beneficiaries of the Federal Government Trader Moni Scheme have been verified in Mallam Madori Local Government Area of Jigawa State.

The Community Mobilization Officer in the area, Mallam Dalha NOA made this known to newsmen in Mallam Madori.

He said the program, under the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, was initiated to boost petty trading and farming activities in societies.

Malam Dalha NOA explained that the money was disbursed on a loan basis and also interest-free for six months.

In a speech, the Verification Officer, Ibrahim Abdulazeez Nayari said so far over 150 male and female beneficiaries were being verified at the ongoing exercise.

Also the Coordinator, Social Investment Program, Mallam Idris Muhammad commended the federal government for boosting the socio-economy of its people and promised that beneficiaries with names and BVN problems would be solved soon.
