His eminence, the Sultan of Sokoto Muha’d Saad Abubakar has directed Muslim ummah in the country to start looking for the cresent month of Shawwal 1443 After Hijira tomorrow Saturday the thirtieth of April 2022.
In a statement signed by Chairman Advisory Committee on Religious Affairs Sultanate Council Sokoto state, Prof.Sambo Wali Junaidu, says if sighted the information should be forwarded to the nearest district or village head for onward communication to the Sultan.
