Nigeria Security and Civil Defence, Corps (NSCDC) Kwara state Command has trained a special female strike force to prevent attack by bandits and kidnappers in schools across the state.
The state Commandant of the Corps , Commandant Makinde Iskil-Ayinla stated this while speaking with newsmen in Ilorin.
Represented by the Commands Public Relations Officer, Babawale Zaid-Afolabi , the Commandant said the save school Initiative was put in place by the Commandant General to prevent students from kidnappers and bandits attack.
He explained that the first batch of thirty two female strike force had been specially trained in arms handling and intelligent gathering to prevent attack on students in schools.
Commandant Iskil-Ayinla noted that in addition the female strike force would mount places and carry out routine patrol to send away Intruders.
In his remark the chief instructor of the Nigerian security and civil Defence Corps(NSCDC) kwara state command Abioye Toyin assured parents of the safety of their children while in school.
