A dependable pillar of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Charity Umbwe Shekari has congratulated Christians for commemorating yet another spiritual rejuvenation.
A statement by Mrs Charity Shekari made available to newsmen in Kaduna charged Christians to use the lessons learnt during the Lenten period for the propagation of Christendom and the emancipation of the downtrodden.
The Chieftain of the ruling All Progressive Congress APC also said Christians should use the season of Easter for sober reflection to rededicate themselves to serving God and humanity.
Mrs Charity Shekari, however, urged Christians and non-Christians alike to close their ranks and work proactively towards entrenching lasting peace, and harmonious coexistence capable of enhancing the current level of socioeconomic and political prosperity in Kaduna state and the country at large.
She enjoined people of Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna state to continue to live in peace with one another and eschew politics of bitterness as well as continue to support government at all levels for societal development.
The APC Chieftain who prayed for a peaceful Easter celebration among Nigerians emphasised that people must support and cooperate with the government in her quest to guarantee an egalitarian society for all to thrive.
