
The Speaker Kano State House of Assembly, Alhaji Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari has charged Muslims to intensify prayers for peaceful co-existance and economic development of the nation.
Director of Press and Public Affairs, Kano State House of Assembly, Malam Uba Abdullahi made this known In a statement to Radio Nigeria in Kano.
The speaker described Ramadan as a sacred month as such there was an urgent need for the Muslim faithful to seek blessings and forgiveness as well as divine intervention on problems bedevilling the country.
Alhaji Hamisu Chidari commended people of the state especially the emirate councils for their commitment and dedication to moving the state forward.
He reaffirmed governments’ readiness in mapping out policies and programs aimed at uplifting the standard of living among people.
Similarly, the Clerk and Head of Legislative Services, Kano State House of Assembly, Alhaji Garba Bako Gezawa expressed satisfaction with the cordial relationship between the executive and legislative arms of government in the state.
He said the lawmaker’s dedication to making laws that touched the lives of the people was a clear indication of the unity and progress of the state and nation.
