The National Association of Jigawa state Students NAJISS has presented 700 packs of sanitary pads, 10 cartons of detergent and Hypo to students of Girls Arabic Government School Babura local government area of the state.
The Vice President of the association, Comrade Ali Mati made this known while presenting the consignment to the school authority in Babura.
According to him, the association had organized the first health awareness on menstrual hygiene and medical outreach for the students in the state.
Comrade Ali Mati said the union had also inspected the school kitchen and classrooms.
The VP commended the Permanent Secretaries Ministries of Health, Dr Salisu Muazu and that of Works Engineer Datti Ahmed for the support and cooperation towards the success of its line up programs.
