President Muhammadu Buhari and his Turkish counterpart,Tayyep Erdoğan,are presently in a closed door meeting at the Presidential Villa Abuja

It is expected that the discussions between the leaders  will focus on  strengthening the age-long bilateral relations between their countries. 

Tayyep Erdoğan arrived State House Abuja some Minutes after eleven this morning and was received by President Muhammadu Buhari  before they went into the closed door meeting.

The two leaders are expected to consider about two dozen Bilateral Agreements and Memoranda of Understanding, and afterwards authorise the signing of those on which there is a concurrence.

The last time Tayyep Erdoğan visited Nigeria was in March twenty sixteen while president Buhari visited Turkey in October twenty Seventeen
