The Federal Government delegation from the ministry of education and the National University Commission NUC have visited two sites in Babura Town for assessment, toward the establishment of the Federal University of Technology Babura in Jigawa State.

In a Statement made available to newsmen in Dutse by the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Badaru Abubakar on New Media Alhaji Auwalu Danladi Sankara explained that the first proposed site which is virgin was located along Kano- Babura road.

Auwalu Sankara pointed out that the other proposed site is an attempt to convert the Jigawa State College of Remedial and Advance studies into the Federal University of Technology Babura.

He said the tour can also be regarded as part of the execution plan for the commencement of erecting the structure.

According to him, Governor Badaru  Abubakar was accompanied by the state commissioner of education Dr. Lawan Yunusa Danzomo and commissioner of land Sagir Musa among others.
