From Usman MZ (Jigawa)

Jigawa state government has called on  parents to ensure that their wards resume schools on Monday, January 18, 2021.

This is contained in a statement signed and made available to Radio Nigeria by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Alhaji Umar Sule Gwaran in Dutse, the Jigawa state capital.

According to him, the state government has made all necessary arrangements to that effect especially on COVID-19 protocols for the safety of the students in schools.

He said boarding students are to resume on Sunday the 17th of this month while day students are expected to be in their schools on Monday 18th of this month.

Umar Sule Gwaram therefore called on the heads of schools to ensure total compliance of COVID-19 protocols in their respective schools as monitoring team would be sent by the Ministry to ensure the compliance.
