Kano state Government says state owned higher institutions will reopen on the 26 of October 2020.

State Commissioner for Higher Education Dr Mariya Mahmud Bunkure stated this while addressing newsmen in Kano.

She said the state government had taken all necessary measures interms of fumigation and providing materials against covid 19 in the schools.

Dr Mariya commended the foresight and commitment of Governor Abdullahi Umar in providing all the needed personal protective equipments at the tertiary institions geared towards achieving the set objectives.

She reiterated the commitment of Kano state Government in curtailing the spread of covid 19 in Kano state.
