Nasarawa State Government has handed over medical equipment worth over fifty million naira to the State University Clinic and the Tuberculosis Control Centre.

Commissioner For Health, Mr. Ahmed Yahaya who made this known said the items were procured between the State Government and World Bank Save One Million Lives Project.

Mr. Ahmed Yahaya noted that the state government would continue to set aside substantial resources to provide quality health care services to the people.

He commended Save One Million Lives Project for its intervention which had contributed immensely in addressing challenges faced by the health sector.

Receiving the medial equipment, Deputy Vice Chancellor of Nasarawa State University Keffi, Professor Ibrahim Haruna said the items would go a long way in upgrading the University clinic.
