Kano State Government has secured Japan and European Union-EU grants that will be used in cushioning the effects of COVID NINETEEN during the pandemic’s post era.
Chief Press Secretary to Kano State Governor, Abba Anwar, said One Point One Million Dollars was voted for the programme.
Mallam Abba Anwar explained that one thousand , six hundred and thirty Small and Medium Enterprises would benefit in the grant distribution process.
He noted that the grants were facilitated through the Office of the Special Adviser on Sustainable Development Goals-SDGs, Habibu Yahaya Hotoro , who is also the coordinating focal person of the Northwest Zone.
The Chief Press Secretary added that the grants would support communities badly affected by the pandemic.
