President Muhammadu Buhari has assured the All Progressives Congress APC that he will continue to campaign for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to be the ‘next President of Nigeria.
The President gave the assurance at the Presidential Campaign of APC in Lafia, the Nasarawa State Capital.
He Said he knew Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a Progressives and Patriotic Nigeria in the last twenty years who had contributed a lot to Democracy in the Country.
President Muhammadu Buhari explained that Bola Ahmed Tinubu had been tested and trusted in the position he held in the past and would replicate to improve upon if elected as President.
The President also called on the People of Nasarawa State to re-elect Governor Abdullahi Sule for second term to consolidate on his achievements in Security, Employment, Agricultural Development and Health among others.
In a remark, The National Chairman of APC Senator Abdullahi Adamu said the People of Nasarawa State appreciate President Muhammadu Buhari for dualism Keffi/Lafia road, Federal Secretariat, Central Bank and appointment of prominent sons and daughters of the state.
The APC National Chairman added that Nasarawa State and Nigerians would give Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governir Abdullahi Sule and other APC candidates votes more than the previous elections.
Also speaking, The Chairman of Progressives Governirs Forum and Governor of Kebbi State Atiku Abubakar Bagudu, who spoke on behalf of Governors, said APC would emerged victorious in the forthcoming Presidential election and win more states.
The Chairman of the Progressives Governors Forum assured Nigerians that the hardship being faced due to fuel scarcity and redesign of the naira notes would end soon.
He said they have discussed extensively with the President and in the next few days opposition parties and those wanting to take political advantage on the situation would be put to shame.
On his part, The Presidential candidate of the party Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu reinstated his commitment to transform the Country and Reposition it for economy development if elected as the next President of Nigeria.
Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu said opposition parties and enemies of the Country who want to see that there is crack in APC would wait in vane as they are united, one and stronger.
The APC Presidential Campaign Rally was attended by Governors of Plateau, Kaduna, Jigawa, Borno, Kebbi, Kwara, Kogi, Niger, Ebonyi, Senate President Senator Ahmed Lawal, Ministers of Works and Housing, Disaster, Management and Social Development, Information, Environment and Former Governor of Nasarawa State Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura among other dignitaries.
