The Peoples Democratic Party-PDP Zamfara central senatorial candidate and former minister of communication, Ikira Aliyu Bilbis has been arrested by police operatives.
Bilbis was arrested in Gusau earlier today.
The Secretary, PDP Zamfara State Abdullahi Zangina, who confirmed the development to Radio Nigeria in Gusau said the arrest followed an allegation by the ruling party, APC of vandalising billboards and other properties during the Reception Rally in honour of Dr Dauda Lawal the party’s flag bearer in the state.
He said team of their legal practitioners were currently at the Police headquarters in Gusau to determined and know the level of the case for further action.
