Transmission Company Of Nigeria TCN has cautioned Kano residents to desist from erecting structures under the transmission cables to ensure safety of lives..
The Chairman National Committee on Encroachment of Right Way, Mr. Kepas Kangeh disclosed this when he led members of the committee who paid a courtesy call to the Kano State Bureau for Land Management.
He said the objective of the visit was to fine-tune modalities that would address encroachment into the premises of TCN land properties.

In her remarks, the Permanent Secretary Kano State Bureau for Land Management Dr. Zainab Ibrahim commended the committee for the visit.
She assured the support of the Bureau in ensuring that the menace of TCN Land encroachment was curtailed in the state.
Meanwhile, the Committee paid a similar visit to Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps Kano Command and the State Security Services seeking synergy, geared toward ensuring stated objectives.
Commandant of the NSCDC Adamu Zakari assured of their support to achieve success.
