The National Patron, Relax Tinubu is Fixing Nigeria Under Religious Affairs, Dr. Emmanuel Simon has described an award presented to him as a recognition of his contributions to the community and the development of Nigeria.
Dr. Simon stated this while speaking to journalists shortly after receiving the award.
He said he was surprised and humbled by the recognition, particularly given the calibre of other personalities who received the award.
According to him, the award is an indication that people are taking note of his contributions, adding that it would not make him complacent but rather encourage him to do more for the community and the country.
Dr. Simon commended the organisers for what he described as a transparent selection process, noting that recipients were carefully screened and selected based on merit.
He expressed appreciation to those who nominated him for the award and prayed for God’s blessings upon them.
The National Patron said the recognition would serve as a stepping stone and a motivation for him to intensify his efforts towards contributing to national development.
He assured the organisers and the public that he would not relent in his efforts but would continue to do more for society.
The award was presented by the Nigeria Association of Women Journalist NAWOJ during the WINSEC Summit 2026 in Abuja.
