The Coordinator Nigerian Defence Academy Officers Wives Association, NDAOWA, Mrs Oritseseyisan Adeola Olatoye has urged women to indulge in exercise for the health benefits and to keep themselves fit.
Mrs Olatoye made this known during the physical monthly fitness exercise organized by the Assocation at the Nigerian Defence Academy, NDA Afaka, Kaduna.

She explained that most of the health issues people normally complained of were associated with exercise, noting that exercise should be a continuous practice for every one, particularly with the high level of in take of cholesterol in the society.
The Coordinator noted that the benefits of exercise to the building and maintenance of the body cannot be over emphasised, as it helps one to keep fit and stay healthy.
She stressed that physical exercise should be practiced by everyone in the society in respective of age.
Some participants from the Civil Defence Officers Wives Association, CDOWA, Kaduna State Chapter, Mrs Victoria Kizito and Mrs Martina Neyu who were part of the monthly fitness exercise commended the Coordinator of the Nigeria Defence Academy Officers Wives Association for the initiative and pledged to continue to keep fit.
The physical monthly fitness exercise had participants from the Nigerian Air Force Officers Wives Association, Police Officers Wives Association,among others.
