Emir of Kaura Namoda, Major (Dr) Sanusi Mohammed Ahmad Asha (Rtd) has received approval for the establishment of College of Legal and Islamic Studies in Kaura Namoda town of Zamfara State.
This is contained in a letter of conveyance from the Governor,Bello Muhammad Matawalle.
The emir who received the letter thanked and appreciated the state governor for the gesture saying the decision was timely as it would enable people of the whole Emirates in Zamfara and Nigeria in general to acquire more knowledge in Legal and Islamic Studies.
The letter, addressed to the emir was also signed by the state Commissioner of Higher Education, Yahaya Chado Gora.
Meanwhile the monarch said the emirate would collaborate with the government and other relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth take off of the College.
