The Federal Government under the four components of the National Social Investment Programme has injected twenty eight billion naira in Niger state from twenty sixteen to date.

Focal person and Special Adviser to Niger state Governor on National Social Investment Programme Barrister Amina Musa Guar said this while addressing Newsmen in Minna.

Barr Amina Guar explained that twelve billion naira was injected to the Home Grown School Feeding programme and another ten billion naira to the N _ Power programme.

According to her three point eight billion naira was injected to the Conditional Cash Transfer and another over nine hundred and fifty one million naira to the GEEP programme.

Barr Amina Guar who commended President Muhammadu Buhari for introducing National Social Investment programme targeted at the poor and vulnerable however said the programme has created fourteen thousand jobs across Niger state.

She also commended Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger state for providing an enabling environment and free hand for those working under the programme to operate and excel attributed this gesture as part of their success story.

Barr Amina Guar who commended the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management hajiya Saadiya Umar Faruk for her doggedness also spoke of their plans to create an Independent Monitors in Niger state for effective service delivery.

She stressed the need for collective efforts by Nigeran élites to achieve maximum results.
