A new faction of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has emerged in Zamfara State.
Briefing journalist on the development, factional chairman of the PDP named True Zamfara PDP, Alhaji Bilyaminu Badarawa said creating the faction became imperative considering the incapacity that rocked the PDP in the State.
The Chairman of the “true PDP” Bilyaminu Badarwa who announced expulsion of the Zamfara State PDP Chairman, Alhaji Tukur Danfulani and his exco said the true PDP emerged to salvage the party from sinking and further disintegration.
According to him, the recent action by the PDP of suspending the publicity secretary of the party, Alhaji Faruku Umar Shattima was a clear testimony of the leadership failure in the party.
Bilyaminu said, the PDP National and Northwest Secretariat were duly intimated about the development, therefore urged the general public to channel all correspondences, dealing and others PDP affairs through his office at the “true PDP” Secretariat in Gusau.
When contacted, the secretary, PDP Zamfara State, Alhaji Ibrahim Umar said He is not aware of the true PDP, but will contact his chairman when he return to the state from Abuja and will make his findings public.
