Kaduna State Government says it is taking concrete steps towards establishing a permanent orientation camp for corp members in order to to create a safe and supportive environment where they can live, serve and thrive.

Gorvernor Uba Sani, stated this at the swearing -in ceremony of the two thousand five hundred Batch “B” Stream “two” corp members at the temporary orientation camp, government college, Kaduna.

The governor who was represented by the Commissioner of Youths development, Mrs Gloria Ibrahim, urged them to engage themselves respectfully with their host communities and leave a positive footprint during their service year.

He charged them to uphold integrity, discipline and exemplary conduct at all times, adhere to camp rules, respect authority and build friendships that will promote unity and peaceful achievements.

Governor Uba Sani, assured them that the state government stands with the NYSC, saying the safety of the Corp- member remains it’s top priority.

In her remark, the NYSC state coordinator, Mrs Efeke Murna Dadaza, thanked the Kaduna State Government for its unwavering commitment to the ideals and objectives of the scheme.

Mrs Efeke Murna Dadaza maintained that the scheme was established to promote national, unity, foster mutual understanding and mobilize the energy, creativity and talents of Nigerian graduates towards national development.

She assured that the management places priority on corps members welfare while urging them to be security conscious, comply with safety guidelines, avoid unnecessary risks and promptly report any concerns to the appropriate NYSC channels.
