The Katsina State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Bashir Tanimu Gambo Dutsin-Ma, has constructed three new classrooms and renovated three existing ones at Abdullahi Bin Abbas Islamiyya School in Dutsin-Ma Local Government Area as part of ongoing efforts to promote Islamic education and community development.

 

The project was officially commissioned in the presence of Islamic scholars, traditional leaders, community stakeholders, and residents from various parts of the local government area.

 

The intervention has been widely described by residents as a significant contribution toward improving the learning environment for students and teachers, while strengthening religious education within the community.

 

The Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Bashir Tanimu Gambo Dutsin-Ma, popularly known by many residents as “Khadimul Islam” due to his consistent support for religious and humanitarian activities, received commendations for his commitment to educational advancement and grassroots development across Katsina State.

 

In his remarks during the commissioning ceremony, the Commissioner reaffirmed his commitment to supporting religious and educational institutions, noting that investment in education remains essential to societal growth and moral development.

He further disclosed that plans are underway to renovate the upper section of the school building within the next two months.

 

According to him, the renovated structure will serve as an office for the IZA Association in Dutsin-Ma to further strengthen Islamic and educational activities in the area.

 

The event attracted prominent Islamic clerics, Imams, traditional rulers, youth leaders, and other members of the community, who offered special prayers for the Commissioner, asking Allah to reward him abundantly and grant him continued success in serving humanity.

 

Residents also expressed appreciation for the project, describing it as a timely intervention that would have lasting impact on future generations in Dutsin-Ma and beyond.
