The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaninkon Ward, Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State, has conducted a peaceful primary election process ahead of the 2027 general elections.

 

Party faithful, stakeholders, community leaders, women and youth groups, alongside APC loyalists, gathered at the Ward Center in Angwar Fari to participate in the exercise aimed at affirming the party’s candidate for the Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives.

 

The primary election witnessed a unanimous endorsement of the incumbent lawmaker, Mr. Daniel Amos, following the withdrawal of other aspirants in support of the member’s re-election bid.

 

Speaking during the exercise, the Ward Returning Officer Bamas Maidawa commended party members for their maturity, unity, and orderly conduct throughout the process.

 

Representing the Ward Party Chairman, Daniel Waje (Goska) formally presented the matter before the gathering, where members overwhelmingly affirmed Daniel Amos as the APC candidate for the Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 elections.

 

According to party stakeholders, the unanimous decision was a reflection of the confidence reposed in the lawmaker based on his performance and contributions across critical sectors within Jema’a/ Sanga constituency.

 

They noted that, Daniel Amos has distinguished himself through impactful representation, community development initiatives, empowerment programs, educational support, infrastructural interventions, and efforts geared toward improving the welfare of constituents.

 

Party members described the exercise as a demonstration of APC’s internal democracy, unity, and collective resolve to consolidate on the achievements recorded under the leadership of Daniel Amos.

 

Many expressed optimism that the unity displayed during the primaries would further strengthen the party’s chances in the forthcoming general elections.
