Old students of Government Secondary School Fadan Kaje in Kaduna State have raised concern over the deteriorating state of infrastructure in their alma mater, urging the Kaduna State Government to take urgent steps to rehabilitate the school and restore its lost glory.
The President of the association, Marcus Chris Boman, made the appeal during the Golden Anniversary celebration of the 1975 set of the school held in Kaduna.
Boman specifically called on the government to renovate dilapidated hostels, repair damaged toilet facilities, reconstruct the school’s perimeter fence, and provide other essential learning infrastructure needed to meet modern educational standards.

In his remarks, a member of the association, Joseph Haruna Mamman, observed that life after retirement has become increasingly difficult for many elderly citizens, stressing the need for society to adequately care for retired persons.
Earlier, Chairman of the 1975 set, Mr. Joshua Makama, appealed for unity among former students of the school.
He urging members to always remember their roots and remain committed to supporting one another and the development of their alma mater, regardless of their achievements and status in life.
